December - Onsite Health Screenings

This past December, LSR partnered with The Jewish Hospital - Mercy Health Mobile Mammography Unit to provide onsite health screenings for participating employees. The Jewish Hospital- Mercy Health Mobile Mammography Units make screening mammography quick and easy. The self-contained, 38-foot vans are staffed by female radiology technologists who specialize in mammography. December - Marine Toys for Tots Foundation

LSR is proud to continue our support of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation each year. This year, LSR employees were able to collect numerous toys, as well as $800.00 in monetary donations, to benefit this local charity. For more information on how you can help, please visit: ToysForTots.org

December - Child Focus Angel Tree

This holiday season, LSR and its employees continue to be a proud supporter of Child Focus by sponsoring children through our annual Child Focus Angel Tree. Child Focus provides families with a wide range of services around the community, and LSR employees were able to provide for these families by purchasing toys, clothing and household items. November - Operation Christmas Child-Service/Affidavit/CE/Sale Triage Team

On 11/19/15 the Service/Affidavit CE and Sale Triage Team worked together as a team to create a total of 14 shoe boxes that will go all over the world. The goal was to create 3 boxes and they definitely exceeded this! The boxes are filled with a "wow" toy and then also filled with other fun toys, hygiene items, and school supplies. November - Maintain Don't Gain Holiday Challenge

During the upcoming holiday months, LSR partnered with Fit Together and other downtown offices for a holiday challenge! This Fit Together program is to help encourage healthy eating habits and staying physically active during the holiday season.

November - Hoxworth Blood Drive

On November 5th, LSR partnered with the Hoxworth Blood Center by holding a donor drive with the firm's employees. In coordinating this drive, participating employees were able to successfully donate 18 units of blood for patients in our community! November - Casual Days for a Cause

During Thanksgiving week, LSR hosted our annual Casual Days for a Cause to support the Freestore Foodbank. The Freestore Foodbank is a local organization that annually distributes over 20 million meals to more than 260 non-profit agencies, including community centers, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, and various non-profit outreach centers in the 20 counties that they serve. October - Pay It Forward Initiative

In October, the LSR Health and Wellness Committee focused on mental health by way of doing good deeds for others. The committee introduced The Pay It Forward Initiative at LSR! The initiative focusses on sending anonymous challenges to coworkers in order to promote doing a good deed for others. Participating employees post their "pay it forward bucks" to a bulletin board and in turn challenge a fellow co-worker to keep the chain going.

October - Pink Thursdays

During the month of October, LSR hosted "Pink Thursdays" in support of the Chris Collinsworth ProScan Fund. These casual days for a cause went to support Pink Ribbon Programs that provide easy access to early detection and hope and comfort to breast cancer patients. October - Making a Difference Together Community Fair

On October 14th, LSR's Community Service Committee hosted a Making a Difference Together Community Fair. We had over 20 local organizations and great participation from LSR employees! LSR employees were also able to successfully make 100 cards to support our troops this holiday season, which is amazing!

September - Donation Days

Each month the LSR Community Service Committee picks a non-profit group in our area and solicits donations from LSR employees. During the month of September, LSR employees collected new, or very gently used, children's books that will be going to Cincinnati Public Schools. This was a great way for our employees to clean out their bookshelves and support local school libraries.

August - Hoxworth Blood Drive

On August 13th, LSR partnered with the Hoxworth Blood Center by holding a donor drive with the firm's employees. In coordinating this drive, participating employees were able to successfully donate several units of blood for patients in our community! August - Casual Days for a Cause

During the first week of August, LSR hosted Casual Days for a Cause where employees dressed casually to support Crayons to Computers and Pro Kids. We were able to successfully raise a total of $1302.00 and we donated $651.00 to each charity.

Each month the LSR Community Service Committee picks a non-profit group in our area and solicits donations from LSR employees. During the month of August, LSR collected School Supplies for the Crayons to Computers - Push for Pencils Drive! These donations went to support local teachers for the upcoming school year. July - All-Star Game

All-Star Game: During the week of July 13th, Cincinnati welcomed the Major League All Star Game and Home Run Derby! Our office was right in the center of all of the hype and LSR was able to enjoy the week's events.

July - LSR 40th Anniversary

On July 8th, LSR employees honored the firm's founding members for their 40th anniversary. Congratulations to Don Lerner, Kirk Sampson, and Rick Rothfuss on this milestone anniversary.

July - Donation Days

Each month the LSR Community Service Committee picks a non-profit group in our area and solicits donations from LSR employees. As the Major League Baseball All Star Game came to Cincinnati, LSR employees participated in a silent auction to raise funds for the Reds Community Fund. Each department created masterful baskets and tickets were purchased for the raffle. Ticket sales raised an amazing $2,096.00 for the Reds Community Fund and with the generosity of Lerner, Sampson & Rothfuss, the firm matched what was raised, bringing the total donation to $4,192.00. For those of you who don't know, the number 4192 just so happens to be the number of hits that lead Red's player Pete Rose to break Ty Cobb's all-time hits record back in 1985. We can't make this up!

June - Our Harvest Cooperative

Lerner, Sampson and Rothfuss once again joined forces with Our Harvest Cooperative where participating employees receive fresh, local produce on a weekly basis. Our Harvest Cooperative is committed to creating family-sustaining jobs in Greater Cincinnati, producing sustainably-grown, local produce and building a food hub to strengthen the local food system and increase access to healthy food from local farmers. June - Donation Days

LSR Employees solicited new or gently used baby items to assist new parents in our local community. All donations went to the YWCA of Greater Cincinnati. April - Casual Days for a Cause

During the week of April 27th, LSR hosted Casual Days for a Cause to raise money for The American Red Cross Disaster Relief to provide aid to those affected by the devastating earthquakes that struck Nepal. Together, LSR employees were able to raise $1,410.00 to those affected.

Each month the LSR Community Service Committee picks a non-profit group in our area and solicits donations from LSR employees. During prom season, LSR employees collected dresses, accessories, evening bags and costume jewelry and donated them to Kenzies Closet.
